About Us
We are in our "golden years" but we are still active in loving and serving Jesus!
Our Senior Adults at Community Church are a vibrant and integral part of our congregation. Bringing wisdom, experience and grace to our church family, our Senior Adults are active in ministry. Our usual schedule includes a monthly luncheon and program called "Golden Years" as well as monthly Skip Trips for fellowship and sight seeing to local destinations. Anyone who is 50 or older and is wanting to have a good time with others, is invited to attend any of the gatherings. Be sure and watch the current events calendar for information on what is happening in the Senior Adult ministry as times, costs and dates vary.
Additionally, many of our seniors also enjoy singing in our chancel choir, attending our Pioneers Sunday School class and or our Men's Prayer and Bible Study group. The Women in Stitches group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 9:30-11:30am in our Christian Life Center. This group is attended by many senior adult women.
