We are so glad you have found our website and are interested in finding out more information about our church. Below you will find some basic information about our church, our services, and what you can expect when you visit. Sunday Mornings We have two Sunday morning services: 8:30am & 11:00am. Our services generally last about 60 minutes. We have parking adjacent to 17-92 at the north end of our property and a smaller lot adjacent to Piney Ridge Road. When you arrive, feel free to visit the Welcome Center located in the Fellowship Hall. There you can find out more information about current events, activities, and small groups, in addition to the current Sunday School classes available. While in the Fellowship Hall, enjoy free coffee or lemonade. Sausage biscuits or donuts are usually sold after the 8:30 service and before the 11:00. During the service, you will have an opportunity to fill out a prayer request card. We believe God answers prayer and we would love the opportunity to pray with you. Both services are full of praise music, teaching straight from the Bible, hymns, ministry moments, and a choir. Each week, communion is available, usually by intinction, meaning you dip the bread into the juice, receiving both elements at the same time. Feel free to stay and pray at the altar or return to your seat. You do not need to be a Methodist or a member of CUMC to take the free gift of Christ. For your children, a nursery is available for the duration of both services up to age 5 (8:30 service) and age 3 (11:00 service). The 11:00 service is our family service. During this service, there are special activities for ages 4 through 4th grade. They are invited to start the service with you, go up to the altar during the children’s message and are then escorted to Room 27 for the rest of the service. While there, they will be involved in a special Children's Worship time designed especially for them. At the conclusion of the service, you may pick them up in Room 27, upstairs in the Education Building. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask the folks at the Welcome Center or the ushers in the back of the sanctuary.
